Jacob is a Roseville-based artist and has been a resident at the Studio Custom Tattoos since 2016. Growing up in the greater Sacramento region he began drawing and developing a vast perception of art at a young age. "My mother worked primarily with oil paint and stained glass while my father worked as a welder fabricating custom sculptures on his days off... I became accustomed to work of modern, impressionist and contemporary artists such as Picasso, Dali, Seurat and Van Gogh due to their versatility in terms of realism and abstract art." He enjoys all styles and aspects of tattooing but prefers anything with a selective color palette, high contrast, creative imagery and geometric pattern/dotwork. "My goal is to focus on personal growth as an artist and see how far I can push this medium, let’s make some tattoos!"
